Paper, cardboard & paperboard

From very thin to thick as a board, from rough uncoated paper to cast-coated, from highly smooth to coarsely textured, from open-pore absorbent to impermeable coated: We can print, finish, cut or die-cut almost any paper, cardboard or paperboard.

Paper

In the paper and cardboard sector, we process grammages of 40 – 700g/m²

Design papers in particular, such as uncoated, solid-colored natural cardboard, offer a great stage for presenting your message: discreet printing with a selective finish, such as a text in high-gloss UV varnish, is often enough to create an effective work of art.

We also print on special papers such as sandpaper, flocked velour paper, watercolor paper or glued stamp paper.

We offer wrapping paper made of 40g/m² thin printing paper up to the format 600x460mm, optionally printed in one or two colors. This gives wine bottles, sparkling wine and spirits in particular a classic touch when giving them away. The wrapping paper is also suitable as an advertising space to generate interest in follow-up business among the recipients.

Even finished paper products such as paper bags or finished books can usually be printed on, for example to print text or logos that have been accidentally forgotten.

In addition to printing and processing paper, we also produce new paper-based materials:

We use protective film coatings to create barriers, for example against the penetration of grease or moisture, and make paper more durable. Paper coated in this way can then be wiped clean when soiled and is also much more mechanically tear-resistant.

We use metallization to conjure up real metal on the paper surface. The result is silver paper, silver cardboard, gold paper or gold cardboard. Special designs such as paper with a hologram effect or a surface with a brushed aluminiumlook or in metallic colors are also possible. And all of this can be customized in your desired format, thickness and direction. You can find more information on this under MetalPaper. You can also obtain finished products on metallized paper, such as certificates, business cards or posters.

Cardboard and thick cardboard

We print and process solid cardboard and cardboard types with a particularly high material thickness of up to around 4 mm.

Many designers like to use industrial to archaic-looking substrates, such as gray board or wood board, as a high-contrast stage for printing. Images using finishing techniques, such as metallized text, are also very attractive here.

The print on several millimeters thick, yet pure white museum cardboard is also particularly eye-catching. The printed surface is comparable to classic, uncoated offset paper. At the same time, the cardboard surprises with a thickness of several millimetres and high rigidity.

Colorfully colored cardboard elegantly rounds off the spectrum for creative use. They are often used as cover and end sheets for presentation folders, for example.

Corrugated board and hollow board

We print on corrugated cardboard from thin graphic flute (O, G, N flute) to mini, micro and fine flute (F, E, D, B flute) to medium, coarse and maxi flute (C, A, K flute). We can also print on double flutes made of several layers, also known as duplex flutes or combination flutes. We print on corrugated cardboard formats up to 3,000 mm long and 2,000 mm wide. Contactless printing using the industrial inkjet printing process achieves particularly beautiful results, especially with photorealistic image reproduction.

We print on hollow board, such as Fipa® or Re-board®, up to a thickness of around 45 mm and also up to a maximum format of 2,000 x 3,000 mm.

Single-sided open color corrugation is available in smaller formats up to 700×1,000mm and offers attractive options for packaging with blind embossing or hot foil stamping.
